The Nephilim

Only the one-winged angel carries the fury of man and the wrath of God. The Guardians have lost close friends and their very home defending humanity, but there's no time to mourn when the Vatican comes calling for help tracking a deadly opponent. As assassin has made an attempt on the pope's life and now it's up the the Guardians to hunt him down before he can finish the job. But all is not as it seems. The assassin is no mere mortal. He is a Nephilim, half-man and half-angel, with ties to the Vatican and to Father that will shake the very foundation of the Guardians to their core.
