In return, all the book wants is her soul. The book is a promise made to an ancient soul trapped in a purgatory made for him and his parents. The book is populated with the souls of those who found the book. Some were tricked into hell while others earn their way.A mysterious force controls both purgatory and the book with its agenda. The force watches over Kaylee as she transitions from a young girl hiding behind a window, watching others to a dominant force in her high school and the world within the book. Can Kaylee keep her soul, or will she be unable to turn away from temptation?
