That Bloodthirsty Rose

Snow White was born a princess, but her mother died in childbirth. By order of her misguided aunt, soon-to-be Queen Adara, Snow was abandoned in an orphanage to be raised as a peasant. Her twin sister Rose Red, however, remained a secret. A resourceful midwife saved Rose's life and raised her to become a fierce protector for those wrongly persecuted. When dark forces pursued Rose, she found an unlikely guardian in a Gilled man—a creature from the black depths who walked like a human but swam like a fish.
