KNIGHT'S KING When the Romulus family carriage is attacked, and the occupants are captured by an unknown assailant. Lord Romulus seeking answers calls forth the Hunter Kord, his young ward Cardinal, and the warrior Kamien who are hired by Lord Romulus to find the missing children. Searching the area of abduction, discoveries are made. Cardinal returns from his search, bringing with him Wyvern a new companion. In the not so long ago past a young van'torn prince was slain, though, his body had never been recovered. During the journey mysteries will be revealed, and Kord's own past is seemingly entwined with the events unfolding. Long ago the great Blood Purge was fought, a war pitting the van'torn against their dark Blood God. One Eric Knight a young and promising weapons master rose to the task. He fought a long growling battle and was eventually able to best the god. In the final moments the god placed a curse on the Knight bloodline. The time of the curse has come, can Kord and his companions arise to the task?
