Karmic Penance

As the living deity of the Karmic Penance faith, Jozie Carmichael is worshipped by its followers. To the Zodiac Enforcement Agency, she's a Fallen, her magic too red to be anything other than evil. As a god, her will is supreme and she won't apologize for it. Beau Winchester is a ZEA agent hellbent on catching Jozie Carmichael, an insane cult leader. She snubs morals and laws, and any practical decency, which is dangerous in the hands of a Zodiac wielder. Especially since her selfish agendas leave a trail of anguish in her aftermath. Then he gets lucky and collars her, discovering the Amulet of Time in her possession. But when it's stolen from lockup, he must face the implausible idea that Jozie may not be the most imminent threat to humanity. Unfortunately, there's no one better than her to track the item, so, he offers her a chance at redemption. Will she take his deal? Can he trust her if she does?
