About This Book

It's only a game the company says. Players get a free vacation, all expenses paid. They also get the celebrity of being cast members of a popular survival show. At the end of the rainbow there's even a pot of gold, a cool million dollars for surviving the game and being The Last One Left.

What no one knows is that there's a killer out there. One by one the winners are being efficiently eliminated. Some are shot, others appear to die from natural causes or by accident. It is only when one of the most popular winners is killed in an auto crash that suspicion is aroused.

Desperate to stop the killer without publicity, the CEO calls in Jazz Phillips. The job sounds simple. First, find out if there is a killer at work. Second, identify him. Under no circumstances is the FBI to be informed.

Even so, when Jazz starts to dig he quickly discovers this is a very complex case. There are dozens of false leads and it looks as if one of the company officers may be an accessory. Then the monster he is after turns on Jazz and it is not clear which of them will be the last one standing.
