Evanne, a half-Vhemin bard with a tune for trouble and a heart for heroism, never expected to inherit a relic from before the world fell. Gifted an ancient suit of armor by a spectral warrior, she believes it holds the key to restoring justice in a land teetering on the edge of chaos.

But the armor is more than a relic. It's a challenge from the past, a summons that calls her across the blasted plaguelands to a place of mythâ€"the lost fairy sky city. Her mission: restore the armor, and tip the balance in their favor. The catch? She'll have to slay a vampire older than history, a creature that has outlasted empires and for whom time has no meaning.
