In a world where philosophy is supernatural, four souls meet to find and combat a cabal of corrupt mystics, violent thieves, and monsters created by dark theurgic arts. Matching martial skill and reality-warping maxims against the powers of mysterious enemies, a team like no other is forged that will cleanse the city of the hidden fires that threaten it. They will come to be known as Four Winds-One Storm. It is the saga of a young woman on the run, a wandering scholar, a cursed lecher, and a warrior seeking fame, but not fortune. Together these individuals combine their talents to undo the wrongs of the world and aid one another in their personal challenges. Set in a world without an afterlife where a person's view of existence determines their influence over it, and conflicting philocreeds veer the course of history.
