Ushanna

He undulated through the temperate water, revelling in the beauty of the reef, allowing the myriad of fish to flow past him in a carnival of colours and shapes. He looked up at the surface and smiled inside his mask. The feeling that he had escaped the world visited him as it usually did, with a sense of triumph. He swooped away along the diversity of coral and then stopped suddenly, blinking at what he thought he saw, shaking his head, a strange sensation that might have been fear creeping down his spine.
