It began with a singularly brutal murder in London...and with a note that read: This is the first, with a drawing that showed three mice...and an oddly familiar bar of music. Of course that was London for you--a locale far removed from Giles and Molly Davis and their guests at snowbound Monkswell Manor. Far removed, that is, until the police call, leaving a cryptic message. Until the phone goes dead. Until the killer strikes again--to the eerie strains of "Three Blind Mice."
