About This Book

While attending Miss Plazenby's Extremely Exclusive Seminary for Girls in Frangea, Meresinth Woodbine brought with her from Arbornica her homeland a mischievous sense of humour that at times seemed almost on the verge of getting out of hand. Yet when a friend spoke to her of it she countered the criticism with a plea that her presence at the school was one huge mistake, her people sending her there without knowing how it would affect her. Then she explained the troubles her land faced, for at the time of the Green Moon the Wicked Witch of Arbornica would appear and terrorise the land. She said even as a child trouble followed her around and so she resolved by clever means to defeat this curse upon her people. Her endeavours failed however and she was sent away, seemingly for her own safety. Only it appeared increasingly likely the evil spirit had followed her to Frangea as well, though her friend, the insightful Esper, had serious doubts this was the whole story.
