The Shadows Beneath the Jungle

Pastor Noah Fallow was a successful religious leader who built his church from scratch and whose congregation numbered over a thousand. Then he was hit by a drunk driver that killed his wife and children and put him into a coma. When he awoke, he bought an island in Indonesia, built a compound there behind tall wooden walls, and lured over 200 of his congregation to join him in building a new world. Now, years later, reporter Ruben Cortez and his cameraman, Bob Weaver, are visiting the compound to interview Pastor Fallow and his followers. They don't know what they'll find: an island paradise, or another Jonestown. But they only have a few days to figure it out, for one of Pastor Fallow's devoted followers is a congressman's daughter-and her father is coming to visit her along with his armed Secret Service detail. The clash of the outside world with Pastor Fallow's compound may result in arguments, outright fights, and maybe even death. But what Cortez and Weaver find beneath it all could change the entire world forever.
