He is sure that he will be able to re-establish his operation once he gets to Mexico.He believes that he has leverage with the drug dealers and seeks them out for money and help in getting across the border.He is taken prisoner in San Diego by the Uncle of the drug pusher he killed during his recruiting period.The uncle uses a nail gun to slowly kill Liam. Elisa one of the drug pushers that he imprisoned for almost a year extracts her share of revenge.Alex gets to Liam too late. She finds him full of nails with one nail in each eye and two through his forehead.He case ends on a sad note and with her feeling guilty that she feels Liam deserved what he had in the end received.
