The rules were simple: wind the clocks, never reset the clocks, and never interfere. The punishments were clear. Failure to follow the Keeper's laws meant death for the human and an eternity of pain in the pits of Sheol for the Keeper. Amara has been a Keeper of lost souls for three hundred years. In all that time, she had never failed to wind a clock, never broke a rule, nor interfered in the destiny of another. She served flawlessly and with honorable loyalty, until humanity found its way into her heart. Along with her human wards and Seer ally, Amara suffers an abundance of calamities and hardships as they bond in their fight to save each other.
