SPRING IS IN THE AIR -- AND SO IS DANGER

In his wanderings throughout the countryside, Roger the Chapman has solved many a mystery with his quick wit and keen intelligence. Arriving in the village of Totnes, the peddler-cum-sleuth hears the frightening tale of a marauding band of outlaws which has been terrorizing the town and who are accused of murdering two missing children. But something about the tale doesn't ring true to Roger. And while any unresolved mystery captures his imagination, this one pulls at his heartstrings as well. Putting his talent for detective work to use, and disregarding the threat of danger to himself, he vows to discover who is truly guilty.
