Street Walker

Detective Sergeant Ernie Fleming worked out of the Homicide Division of the Maine Town Police Dept. Over the years of his career he had many experiences in dealing with crime and criminals. Two events from those years would come back into his life. It was anything but a happy memory. It all started on a clear day in February in downtown Maine Town. He got the call of a shooting at Main Street and Maple, one person down. When he and his partner arrived at the scene they found a woman laying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the chest right through the heart. The next six months would find Ernie trying to find the killer or killers and discovering that he was being targeted as the final victim. It would come down to a one on one face off. The question was, would Ernie survive? This all depended on whether Ernie found the information he needed in order to identify the killer or killers and run them down.
