A policeman can stumble across all sorts of strange things in his job, and David is no exception. However, what confronts him now takes 'extraordinary' to a whole new level. First of all, his partner, Carl, a confirmed chauvinist, has fallen in love, and miraculously changed into a sensitive new age male. And then along comes Vanish, the feral street orphan, with his pet. And what an amazing and bizarre pet it turns out to be!
