A Valentine's Day bet leads to the best night of elemental demon, Moses Thorne's long life, but an empty bed the morning after.

When Moses is assigned to investigate a string of grisly murders in New Orleans, it is a welcome distraction from his constant thoughts of Claudette Bradley. Yet, he wonders if he'll ever see her again.

To make matters worse, a vengeful demon escapes from a prison in Hell. Along with him is the whereabouts of Lucifer's angelic sword, Ata Yafe. As long as Ata Yafe is missing, no demon is safe. That includes Moses, his parents, and Lucifer himself. Capturing the escaped demon becomes the top priority.

It's up to Moses and a unique group of paranormals from both sides of the eternal struggle of good and evil to capture the demon and get Ata Yafe back before it's too late.
