Opening Move

The demon's game began long before he sent Catherine into the past. Catherine is young, heartbroken, and seeking to numb the pain of her past in any way she can when she meets a mysterious stranger in a bar one night. He offers her a distraction from her sorrows, and when she slips from the room later that night, she thinks she'll never see him again. Instead, he shows up where she finds cases to take, monsters to hunt, and demons to chase. Until, that is, she finds out that he's one of them and he's chasing her. Leading up to the dramatic start of Displaced, Opening Move is the fast paced prequel to the Catherine Siddall Series.
