Big changes come from small atrocities, as the survivors of what is termed the GrayCap find out as the Long Beach Peninsula is hidden from the rest of the world. Friend is pitted against friend and family against family as the younger generation is used to supplant their elders as a new order is swiftly created. Battles lines are quickly drawn as the mysterious figure known only as Aliyana selects her Chosen and sets them against one another to enact the Balance that will determine the fate of their world.
