With too many partners, who is double-crossing whom?
When a well-known family is burglarized and the burglar is photographed, why is it difficult to pin the burglary on the burglar when confronted? That is the problem the police department is running up against. The burglar has an alibi. Not only that, a murder is committed close to the burglarized home at the same time. The burglar sees the murder and the murderer. Now the burglar is running in fear.
Out of desperation they call for Mike and Peter to help.
Mike and Peter very quickly run up against a brick wall. One mystery turns into two mysteries. Before long, the twists and turns of the case send them down several unexpected roads to their utter amazement and astonishment. Who would have thought?
