Returning to Manhattan after an extended leave of absence, NYPD Detective Megan McGinn is anxious to regain her footing as one of the top homicide detectives in New York. 

When Megan is approved to return to work, her first assignment is the sexually perverse murder of a Grammy-award winning music producer. Despite the scrutiny that accompanies it, a high profile case is the best strategy she has for getting her professional life back on track.
