Masika's Quiet World

The day the world ended was just like any other. People were living their day-to-day lives, blissfully unaware of what was to come. When the end came, they were still ignorant of what had occurred... because they no longer existed.In a single moment, everyone in the world disappeared. There was no warning. Within seconds, the people in Masika's life had vanished from existence, leaving her completely alone with nobody else to survive with. In place of the humans came the wights, monstrous creatures that crave the darkness and fear the light. They feed on human flesh and relentlessly hunt down Masika in an attempt to completely rid the world of humans.When she finally gave up on trying to find survivors in her city, Masika begins her long trek across the empty Canadian landscape in a desperate search for others, but as the days stretched into months the possibility of finding people dwindles. Even if there was someone else out there, would she be able to cope with her losses and prepare herself for a future without her loved ones?
