When James finds Grimes dead, he is certain of foul play. But the doctor confirms natural causes and even good friend Detective Chief Inspector George Lane dismisses his suspicions. So James decides to put his own sleuthing skills to the test.

The first four cosy novels (Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn) were offered at a low price as I was learning my trade and I couldn't afford an editor at the time. However, a few years down the line, I'm aware there were some shortcomings in my writing and I believe the constructive 1* reviews commented on that. I am in the process of re-editing these first four books. I now use a professional editor and mainstream author to edit all of my work. This edition of the Winter Mystery is an updated version using the services of that editor and author. All negative reviews regarding editing or repetition dated prior to 20 February 2017 may not, therefore, be as accurate as they once were. Please bear that in mind when purchasing.
