He finds the strength to break free while being tied to a post for a whipping and discovers a light deep within a cave being used by the Underground Railroad. In search of an easy escape, he runs into the mysterious light and emerges in the year 2020 with incredible physical strength, enhanced senses, the ability to communicate with animals, and futuristic weapons.
