In the Crosshairs of Death

Across England, a predator is on the prowl. In his sights are people of all ages from infants to old aged pensioners. When he has selected his prey, there was no escape. Sometimes there are hundreds of miles separating these crimes and neither age or gender appeared to be a defence. Whether the victims were in the street or in the safety of their own homes, their fate for some reason was just to die Because of the distances between the crimes and the cross jurisdiction of police forces these crimes were not seen as being connected. In every case there was no evidence left behind at the crime scene. This meant that the forensic departments had nothing to work with. DCI Dave Geraint of the Serious Crime Squad based in New Scotland Yard, was brought into this equation purely by chance. It was when a local dignitary, was found murdered at his luxury home in London. Dave's team were instructed to investigate the crime due to his position in society. However, little did Dave realise at that time just how far and wide his murder investigation would have to travel. In the end, he discovers that even more lives are at risk and time is now rapidly running out. Can his unorthodox methods of investigation help him to catch the culprit in time, or not
