Some places have secrets to keep.
Baneville, a small town in the Appalachian Mountains, was one of these places that had such secrets. Even in the age of smart phones and social media, no one outside of Baneville knew of the strange residents or occurrences. What happens in Baneville will mean the saving grace or the death of millions of people.
Sometimes people are born different.
Scattered across the country, five people with different backgrounds have been keeping secrets about themselves and what they can do. It is only after an old man, a very old man, begins to gather them that they find out why they are so different.
Joined by a writer who is hoping for peace and quiet, this small group of six people gather to stop a catastrophe. They converge on Baneville to fulfill their destiny.
Though they come from different places and have different backgrounds, they must work together to stop this disaster.
Their task is simple: They need to stop a god from destroying their world.
