In our world, a person without two things can sink to the social bottom. These things are money and power. In another world, other criteria can become a measure of social status. Gold Chain ended up, such a measure is the presence of a magical gift. Denis Pogodin is a successful forty-year-old businessman. Women love him, he has money, and he devotes all his free time to rock climbing and mountaineering. During one of the forays into nature, the man fell under a landslide and, saving his girlfriend, died. Using the meditation skills acquired on Earth, the man was able to achieve that his mind was reborn in another body and in another world. Here his name is also Denis Pogodin. He lives in the small town of Chernorechensk and belongs to a clan of weak magicians who control the weather. Denis is an orphan, and he lives in the family of his uncle, who is little respected in the city. In this world, magic is owned not only by people, but also by animals, which makes it deadly for those who do not have a strong magical gift. Denis will have to work hard on himself, developing that little gift that was given to him by those who sent him to this world.
