Faith: The End

Eli Sundown. Blind. Son of a Keeper and a Witch. And the savior of mankind? Talk about pressure.  I was born blind but never told I wasn't special in my own way. And it had nothing to do with not having sight. My entire life I've heard whispers of being different. Of prophecies and legends said in whispers about The Light. I just wanted to be a kid and like everyone else.  Fast forward and now I'm a young man but the special has only meant I'm sheltered. The end of the world took my parents away. Yet, close, and far away at the same time. And Hell has decided to test if those secrets and legends are true. How can they when I don't even believe them?  And now… I've met Jannah. A young, sweet angel that is able to give me sight in my prison with just a touch. Kindness and protection to survive torture to prove what I cannot. How can I?   But I need to escape. And she is coming with me. Or the devil himself is going to find out just how much the light can burn.
