Evans to Betsy

When a jaguar rolls into Llanfair, it turns a few heads. And when its passenger, an attractive young American named Emmy, wanders unescorted into the Red Dragon pub, the patrons' interest is piqued. Especially entranced is Betsy the barmaid-because Emmy claims she's a grad student, here to do research on the psychic powers of those of Celtic blood. And she thinks Betsy just might have the gift herself, a talent for foreseeing the future inherited from her nain--her Welsh grandmother.

The villagers think Betsy's gone a bit around the bend when she agrees to be "tested" at Sacred Grove New Age center. But when the director of the center goes missing, and one of Betsy's dreams helps to locate the body, it seems there might be something to this psychic business. Constable Evans has his suspicions, though. And gift or no gift, one thing Betsy doesn't foresee is just how much danger she'll soon be in...
