About This Book

When Dainty Prescott, privileged socialite, last year's debutante, broadcast journalist for WBFD-TV, and owner of the Debutante Detective Agency accepts and squanders a retainer from oil baron, Avery Marshall, she becomes obligated to groom his socially awkward step-daughter, Dawn, for the upcoming, über-exclusive Rubanbleu ball. But during a weekend getaway at a spa resort, Dainty, her sister Teensy, friends Venice and Salem, and Dawn witness multiple execution-style murders of the lodge owners and their staff, and the socialites return to Fort Worth, unable to shake the killers. Terror escalates when Dainty learns Dawn's mentally ill and un-medicated, and can be as dangerous as the men they're running from.

After exhausting all of their safe havens, they must move quickly to unravel the reason behind the resort murders and the attempts on their lives, while staying one step ahead of four mass murderers in black ski masks who want them dead.
