Damaged Goods

I thought this was the end of my life. Turns out it may just be the beginning.When my brother hires me a home caregiver, I'm prepared to send her on her way before she can even set foot inside my house. Then Corrine James shows up. One look at her bright smile and I know that she's going to be trouble for me, so I try to go along with my plan. Except she's not having that. When I tell her that I don't need her, she begs me to let her stay. She needs this job and so I cave. It's only meant to be for a few weeks and then she'll be out of my hair. There's just one problem. As the weeks go on, I realize that I lied to her. I think that maybe I really might just need her. Not as a home caregiver, but as something much more.
