Jake Powell and his partner Billie Keene have just brought an end to the exploits of the Cartographer, Carlos Martella. Jake's method of capturing the killer saved George Androcles, the Medical Examiner, but almost allowed the killer to go free. Meanwhile Jake and Felicity have set the date and are moving in together. They find the perfect home which turns out to have a secret within its walls. The secret brings another case to the desks of Jake and Billie. During the Cartographer case, Billie worked with Adam Pearson and his cadaver dog, Bessie, to discover the bodies dumped in Las Vegas, Albuquerque and Moline. The three got along famously and Billie and Adam are quickly becoming an item. Maybe Jake and Felicity won't be the only two tying the knot. The body on the wall at the house Jake and Felicity decided to buy will provide new mystery for all five when it's determined Adam and Bessie will be needed once again to uncover bodies.
