Conan the Barbarian #9

After coming into contact with a piece of the mysterious Black Stone, Conan of Cimmeria found his body overtaken by vicious specters intent on finding the lost Pict blade Conan discovered in Venarium long ago. After performing atrocities throughout the city of Shadizar in their search, the ancient weapon was found and the specters made their intentions clear: to wield Conan’s might in service to a malevolent being named Thulsa Doom. But Conan would be no pawn for their evil, and using his steel-sent Cimmerian soul, instead turned the blade on himself, intending to take his own life. Once the blade met his skin, Conan was struck by a bolt of mystical lightning and was not slain, but instead transported to somewhere else…
