The Alex Hayden Chronicles is a five book series, charting the adventures of the thousand year old, teenage vampire Alex, and his friends as they battle with werewolves, other vampire clans, witches and dragons.This book is an insight into the mind of the author, Michael Andrews, and explains how he came up with the ideas and plots behind the series. Delving into supernatural mythology, he shows how he picked the best and left out the worst of the lore behind vampires as well as the other mystical creatures featured throughout the series.It also features eight short stories that were written as background material, along with an interview with the author.
