These were not the people she was expecting to see. Jesse stopped short. Nash Investigations was hired by the family of the missing birthday girl. At eighteen, she'd gone out to party and never come home. Her friends each told a very different story to the police. The police told the family there was nothing they could do. Their land wasn't covered by this jurisdiction. By any jurisdiction. They'd wiped their hands of the case. No one was even looking for her.
