Bio: Bud Simpson was born and raised in Brewer, Maine. He is the author of two previous books, Mantawassuk: The Cove, and The Moving Finger Writes. He is now retired and lives with his wife, Margo, in Logan, Ohio. Since 2003, he has written a weekly opinion column for the Logan Daily News. He has other artistic talents such as, nature photography, bird carving, sculpting in bronze, drawing, and painting in various media. A Missing Piece of Sky is his second novel.
