Zombies of Clay

With apologies to James Joyce, this is a zombie-fication of his short story CLAY. The original takes place on All Hallows' Eve and so does this. However, there are a few changes... Maria, the main character is a zombie and she travels from her place of work, helping retired female zombies, to the home of one of the boys she's raised.

This story is NOT for the squeamish. Zombies live a different life than you or I and their sensibilities are-shall we say-heart rending?

The original story is less than ten pages long and I've included both the parody and James Joyce's original in this story. Read it while you still can. Maria's attracted to readers like you.
