You Only Die Twice

When Sean O'Connor the CEO of a company called Resurrection is shot in the underground car park at his office. Chief Inspector Penney and Inspector Charlie Farthing have their investigation thrown into turmoil when they find Sean O'Connor had died thirty years earlier. His links to a known Mafia boss, his companies recent deals, and attempt to take over rival company J R Financial. All provide motives. Then pathologist Dr Lucy Stuart reveals that O'Connor had been shot before, that and the gun left at the scene soon provide clues which open up a dark past. Yet when the true Identity of the killer is exposed it sees Inspector Farthing sitting through the most traumatic interview of his life. Comforted throughout the investigation by his evolving love for Dr Stuart. He takes them both off to his parents farm where sat watching the sea splash below, will he finally propose.
