Yemaya: Mother of the Merpeople

When 16 year old Gabriel and his family are invited to spend the summer in Brazil so they can learn about their roots strange thing's begin to happen. Soon after Gabriel learns of mysterious  drownings he finds himself consumed by terrifying dreams that may have more truth to them than he thought. After sightings of an ominous mermaid start to grow in number Gabriel looks to his African American lineage for the answer and finds that an African water Spirit named Yemaya may be to blame for the drownings.
