Wood Walker

Lieutenant Jake Stalb and his family take a vacation to the cabin he owns by the lake. While there, the local sheriff comes to him and asks for his help investigating some strange deaths in the nearby state game lands. His veterinarian wife, Clarissa, is drawn into the case because there are animals involved. Can the local legends explain the strange happenings? At least a few people think the Wood Walker, a Sasquatch-like creature, is responsible. That and other legends seem to help the people deal with the horrible deaths because most of them refuse to accept there could be a human killer in their quiet and peaceful paradise. The investigation leads to an answer that is even more chilling than any of the legends.
