Preface
Sara Hammond, aged 29, developed into a beautiful young woman. Long, light blonde wavy hair that reached out to touch the wind and then fall naturally back into its proper place â€" hair that every woman would want; high cheekbones, outstanding with the pastel colors of her light tan skin. Even in winter, a sparkle of pink tones blended with her beautiful red lips, and a constant smile made Sara a delight to behold. The Greek Gods themselves could not have cast a better form â€" a princess of the realm. Sara had to tally been blessed with looks, personality, and an air of honesty. Sara moved into a young woman's shoes with a lot of enthusiasm and joy, hoping to make her own mark. The basic elements of her life were considered to be good; a healthy young girl, well developed. Sara's life was trouble-free. She wore her clothes well, appeared to present herself in public as a refined young woman, displaying a sharpness and ability to handle situations. This put others at ease When meeting her for the first time. Sara came across with the air of being a sound, happy, move-along type of person. She had always liked the feelings of security, from the point that, not to be looked on as a spoiled child in the beginning, but one that was disciplined well, and thought of the importance of appreciating the finer things in life as being hard work and respect for those people who have gone before.
As Sara's life continues, the real story of how she transcends through her college years into her married life, relocating to a new community, life begins to show Sara that the real world is sometimes cruel and not understanding.
This all begins to focus around a significant factor which she is unaware of at the time; the mysterious success of her husband's business career, the unusual twist fate takes while she does community work, unvaulting secrets best left alone. Sara learns and feels the power through unforeseen dramas, staged in the cataclysmic affairs of love, lust and monogamy. Years of motherly domination drive her to endless apprehension, seeking strength from Robert, her husband; Margaret, her friend; Peter, her lover; and Elizabeth Templeton Kingsford, her benefactor. Sara finds blood-stained minds craving for confession, only to fear the consequences.

Life itself was a fairy tale in the sense of what the mass majority of people experience. Her father, a successful businessman â€" her mother, a proud, distinguished woman of the community, Sara found life for herself comfortable. We now find Sara in a compromising situation, as she begins to think that she must maintain her sanity, realizing that she has been kidnapped and is being held for some unknown reason. Sara takes a look back in time, remembering her better years as a young woman in school. This flashback allows one to really experiment with the possibilities â€" Could this really happen? Is this really happening now?
