Whiter Than the Lily

Invited by his neighbour to meet some new friends, Josse d'Acquin is struck by the beauty of the young wife and the age gap between her and her wealthy husband. But first impressions can be deceptive, and soon a tragic death under very puzzling circumstances sets Josse off on a trail that brings him danger and intrigue.
