Whistles After Dark

Georgia Pattison, early music soprano, suffers a severe shock while on tour in Prague. In order to recover, her parents send her to their holiday cottage in the Yorkshire town of Whitby, home of smugglers for many centuries. But life in Whitby is not as serene as it should be. Georgia discovers the body of a girl on the beach, a girl she has known for years, and becomes embroiled in the search for her killer. Unable to resist the lure of her 'nosy genes' and determined to avenge Melissa's death and find the murderer, Georgia stumbles into a nest of something much much worse than the odd bottle of illicit brandy. Her actions come to the notice of the criminals and she learns to her cost that they will stop at nothing, certainly not murder, to cover their activities. Can she stay alive long enough to find the killer?
