The mermaids rescued from the oil spill are gone, but teen environmentalist Juniper Sawfeather's adventures with mythical creatures is far from over. While protesting at a logging site, Juniper senses a 1,000-year-old tree calling to her and manipulating her feelings. She soon finds herself trapped 170 feet up in its branches, and the ancient spirit possessing the tree isn't interested in letting her go free or allowing anyone to save her.
