When the Devil Comes Knocking

As the Coombs Street crew deals with ongoing manpower issues, newly minted unit commander Timothy Hudson is amused to watch his former partner Andrew Mackenzie managing as the new dayshift lead. Between the arrival of a pickled foot addressed to Mackenzie, and a ritualistic murder of an old man, the detectives are reminded that sometimes those who commit the most heinous crimes are only slightly lesser victims than those they hurt. And they are also reminded that when a team member suffers, they never suffer alone.
