When the Cat's Away...

‘Myrddin’s Heir’ is a series of books written for bright children from 10-110 years old. The minimum age for Book 1 'A Wizard of Dreams' is 10, but by Book 5, the minimum age has crept up to 13. A number of children have been born with special powers and presented with a mission: to make the world a better place. One of them â€" Gordon Bennett â€" is destined to become Myrddin’s (Merlin’s) Heir… It is a LONG story, needing many books to tell. It will challenge my younger readers especially. References to the notes at the back are indicated at the end of each chapter. Three pieces of sound advice permeate each volume: love learning, respect difference and protect the planet. The story makes me laugh a lot, but in places it also makes me cry.
