About This Book

WELLSPRING is Book Three in the Paskagankee series of supernatural suspense novels set in a tiny village in northern Maine. When contractor Dan Melton uncovers a secret underground death chamber filled with two human skeletons and what appears to be a living naked man, he notifies police immediately. But by the time patrol officer Sharon Dupont arrives on the scene, the man has vanished, disappearing into thin air. Within hours, a Paskagankee resident is murdered in his remote cabin, and brand-new police chief Pete Kendall calls on recently retired Mike McMahon for assistance in solving the crime. The mystery deepens and the tension mounts after a second murder is committed, this one much more personal to Mike and Sharon. They follow the evidence, but soon realize the trail leads to an impossible conclusion. Impossible anywhere, that is, except in Paskagankee, Maine. WELLSPRING combines the Gate of the Gods in Peru, the Fountain of Youth, the Underground Railroad (the support system assisting slaves fleeing oppression in the 1800's), and three murderous outlaws, all adding up to a terrifying, impossible, and utterly absorbing novel of the supernatural...
