WELLSPRING is Book Three in the Paskagankee series of supernatural suspense novels set in a tiny village in northern Maine. When contractor Dan Melton uncovers a secret underground death chamber filled with two human skeletons and what appears to be a living naked man, he notifies police immediately. But by the time patrol officer Sharon Dupont arrives on the scene, the man has vanished, disappearing into thin air. Within hours, a Paskagankee resident is murdered in his remote cabin, and brand-new police chief Pete Kendall calls on recently retired Mike McMahon for assistance in solving the crime.
