Despite her panic, Sonia Thompson, a young reporter, is determined to continue her lonely vigil in the dingy local waxworks, gruesomely nicknamed The Chamber of Horrors.

Someone has already suffered a fatal heart attack in that shadowy room filled with figures of madmen and murderers. Sinister rumors fill the town with word that the waxworks is the secret headquarters for a syndicate of robbers, dope peddlers and killers.

Is there a living menace in the darkness surrounding Sonia? Will she know the answer by morning—or will she be dead by dawn?
