Even though Presley thinks Katy is making a huge mistake, Presley goes home to help her best friend plan for her wedding to Chris. Wedding plans are dampened when realtor Bethany Granville is found dead in Katy's salon. Katy doesn't even know Bethany, and the ever-curious Presley wants to solve the murder. As usual, things aren't that simple and grow even more complicated when their ex-friend Dirt, who was in jail for murder, escapes. Is he coming after the people who helped put him there? When it turns out Chris knew Bethany, more questions arise. Such as, how did Katy's fiancé know Bethany? Presley just hopes finding the answers won't hurt Katy.
